Al Shamsi explained that Emirati women have become role models in education, work, and holding political and diplomatic positions.

Al Shamsi’s statements came in the context of the global celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, where the UAE stands out as a unique and successful experience in supporting women’s roles and enabling their active participation in building society.

Al Shamsi pointed out that the attention to women in the UAE stems from the genuine approach established by its leadership, following the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, who made women’s rights an integral part of comprehensive development plans.

Al Shamsi praised the progressive path taken by Emirati women, noting that they have advanced significantly and now represent a unique model in the Arab and Islamic world, and even globally. He emphasized that this model should be emulated by other countries, as the UAE strives to achieve equality and respect for women’s rights in all fields.
