His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi, General Manager of Sharjah Social Security Fund, said on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan each year: “This day embodies the humanitarian values that distinguish the United Arab Emirates, thanks to the wise vision of its leaders, established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace.”

He pointed out that Zayed Humanitarian Day reflects the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility carried by the UAE, as the state strives to provide support and assistance to every individual in society without discrimination or interruption. Zayed Humanitarian Day also highlights the journey of giving that the UAE has embarked on since its founding, extending beyond geographical boundaries to reach out and help those in need in every corner of the world.
Al Shamsi noted that the UAE community is characterized by high humanitarian conduct, and this great heritage has become an integral part of the national identity of every Emirati. Thanks to the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, the UAE has become a land of values such as generosity, benevolence, and kindness. The UAE continues to achieve tangible accomplishments in the field of humanitarian work, making it a model of goodness and tolerance, and an example to be followed in the field of giving and humanitarian work.
